As I reflect on this past year, I think about what a crazy, wonderful, blurry year it has been.  Becoming parents has been the best decision we could have ever made- it has enriched and fulfilled our lives in a way we could have never imagined.  But I also compare this year to driving while blindfolded!  At the end of some days, you're just glad you made it through!  Like the last few days, for instance.  Anna is cutting her eye teeth.  Oh.  My.  God.  Poor Anna!

Anna's new obsession has been our Christmas tree.  We spend a good fifteen minutes at a time looking at the lights and the ornaments, and she even ventures out sometimes to touch the prickly limbs.  Her third word is "tree"!  In the midst of this busy holiday season, Anna has taught us to slow our lives down and to pay attention to the little things in life, like the memories that live in the ornaments of our tree.  Anna has truly brought back the magic and meaning of Christmas.

We took Anna to see Santa last weekend.  I thought she would be okay with him since my dad has a grayish beard, but oh no!  We got one dazed looking snapshot of her before she burst into tears.  When I scooped her up, she waved at Santa and smiled!  What a stinker.  And remind me never to send daddy and Anna into the toy aisle together again.  I instructed him to get her just one toy for Christmas, but we ended up leaving the store with THREE toys!  Anna sure has Jason wrapped around her little finger!

Well, this week is the week of everyone telling me they're pregnant.  I started off the week with a phone call from my dear cousin Jenny who will have the second Hlava great-grandchild in June.  The family is so excited!  And the next day I found out our friends from college, Matt and Leah, are pregnant with TWINS!  They already have cute little Ethan at home!  And then, with Thanksgiving AND four days off from work... could this week have been any better?

On Friday, Anna's 10 month birthday, she started WALKING!  Oh my gosh.  Sadness wasn't my first emotion... it was shock!  She's been taking little steps all week, but I thought (hoped) she was going to do that for a little while longer.  But no, on Friday she decides to take five or six steps at a TIME.  And now, apparently, the biffs and the bonks start... so I've been too afraid to grab the camera for a picture or video!  She's already taken a pretty good digger on our wood floor.  This walking thing is a two parent job!

I'm in a denial phase right now... I'm trying to ignore the fact that Anna is growing up!  Anna can now stand alone without holding ANYTHING.  She only does it for a few seconds, but every time it happens I feel my heart break a little.  I am now wondering if she'll be walking sooner than we thought!  I am excited about this milestone, but yet I feel like this step will move her from babyhood into toddlerhood.  I never thought that I would be the parent who cries when her baby takes her first steps, but oh yep, I'm sure I will.

We have had a wild week!  On Monday Anna went to the doctor and we found out she had a sinus infection.  The doctor also saw that tooth #8 was coming in along with ALL of her one year molars!  So by next week she will probably have TWELVE teeth!  Poor Anna!  Tonight she figured out how to fall back from a sitting position.  She fell back, sat up, fell back, sat up... for over an hour!  I posted Anna's 9 month pictures as well.  She was once again a little gem for the photographer, so we captured some great moments.

Sunday, October 30th, 2005
Anna's new fascination has been this toy that turns from a car into a walker.  She will literally walk in circles around our living room for the better part of an hour!  It is hilarious.  And Jason has been working hard at babyproofing the house... so hard, in fact, that he accidentally drilled a hole right through one of our cabinets!  Tooth #6 AND #7 came in this week as well!

In the last week and a half, Anna has learned to crawl like a pro and walk along furniture.  It has been keeping us SO BUSY!  Even though I am overjoyed at her new milestones, I sometimes catch myself longing for the days when we could just sit her down, do something, come back, and she would be in the exact same place!

Thursday, October 13th, 2005
We went to a pumpkin farm last weekend.  It was fun to watch Anna's reactions in the petting zoo to all of the animals coming up to her.  And she was just fascinated by the rows and rows of pumpkins!  A good time was had by all.  Anna also said her second word over the weekend... dada!

Thursday, October 6th, 2005
Anna has been crawling up a storm this week!  She is scaring our poor cat half to death.  Holly has always thought Anna was pretty cool until this weekend when she crawled full force at her.  I haven't seen our fat cat move that fast in a while!

Friday, September 30th, 2005
I looked back on Anna's six month and seven month pictures tonight and I can't get over how much she has changed since then.  She really is starting to look like a little girl instead of a baby!  Her personality is coming out more and more now- and we've noticed that she just loves to try and make us laugh.  Her latest tricks are to dance to music and to blow raspberries when eating.  Tooth #5 came in this week!

Yesterday was our four year wedding anniversary.  We celebrated it by going out to a nice dinner and then out for drinks.  It was great to spend some time together as a couple.  We are still talking about the great time we had.  This week Anna said her first word: MAMA!  Jason is now feverishly working on getting her to say dada.  And... she CRAWLED this week as well!

Thursday, September 15th, 2005
Anna has surprised us with some new tricks this week.  Last weekend we came into her room after her nap on Sunday and were SHOCKED to find her standing up in her crib.  We took a picture of the proud look on her face and I posted it for you to see.  Needless to say, the crib was lowered right away!  Then this week, she started waving bye-bye!  And her feet are growing so much we can hardly keep up with buying shoes to fit them.  I guess I'll have to wait a few years before she can have a fashionable shoe collection...

Instead of going somewhere for Labor Day weekend, we decided to spend our time at home as a family.  We went to a local fair, to the park, and to the Mitchell Park Domes.  Anna loved the Domes and I had to make a new webpage in the Misc. Pictures section because we took so many great pictures there!  Check it out.  And check the Domes out too!

I feel very lucky to have found a great daycare for Anna.  She has adjusted well to being back there, and I get so excited to hear about all the things she does each day.  Anna gets to go on stroller rides, play outside, and visit with the "Grandmas and Grandpas" at the adult day care.  It's amazing to see how much her playmates have changed since the spring.  And next week a set of twins are starting!

Well, this may be my last web update of the summer.  So many people have looked at me with pity lately, assuming that I am dreading going back to work next week.  And while I am definitely not doing summersaults, I feel pretty okay about it.  Anna has changed me so much, and perhaps my favorite change has been to relax and just smell the roses.  I didn't do any projects around the house like I usually do- instead, I took my daughter to the park, went on stroller walks, and read books during her naptime.  And that's why I feel so relaxed and refreshed.  This was truly the best summer I've ever had.

Saturday, August 20th, 2005
The other night there was severe weather near our area.  Usually I think severe weather is cool, but yesterday Jason and I were a step away from waking Anna up and taking her downstairs to the basement!  It's funny how moments like these make you reflect on how protective you are as a parent.  Every night before we go to bed, we check on her in her crib; in that quietness, we both often comment on how lucky we feel to have her in our lives.  She's our little blessing.
I changed the layout again for Anna's pictures.  That webpage was starting to get a little overwhelming, so I condensed, deleted, and rearranged.

Anna has found her voice.  She loves to SCREAM at the top of her lungs!  It is completely hilarious.  I wonder what the neighbors think!  Her fourth tooth has finally come in- amen- and now her new thing is to grind her top and bottom teeth together!  Ahh!  Even nails on a chalkboard sound nicer than this!  If anyone knows a way to stop this, I would love some advice!  And finally, Anna's six month pictures have come in!  I posted them for you to enjoy!

Sunday, August 7th, 2005
Jason and I spent the other weekend at a wedding with a bunch of our friends from college.  We were quite a sight- all of us had left our children with someone else, and it was free beer at the reception!  We relived our college years for a night but were definitely ready to come back to reality the next day.  And Anna and I have been going to the different parks around town almost every day.  She just loves to swing!  She would swing for hours if I let her.  Her new thing is wanting to stand while holding on to something.  Does this mean she'll walk early?  I don't think we're ready for that!

Thursday, July 28th, 2005
We spent the past weekend up north at my Great Uncle Gene's cottage.  It is my favorite place on earth! Everything there is quiet and calm.  This weekend we saw a bald eagle fly right over my uncle' s property!  And Anna had her first experience in a swing which was really cute.  This week she graduated from the infant car seat to a convertible car seat.  That signifies to me that I don't have a little baby anymore!

Thursday, July 21st, 2005
Last weekend was my 10 year high school reunion.  Only about 20 people showed up out of 302!  We also had a UW college reunion on the same day and place, so it made for a fun day.  Anna had her 6 month pictures taken this week and was smiling and giggling the whole time.  She also had her 6 month doctor's appointment today.  She's in the 75th percentile for head, height, and weight!  Other than that, we've had a low key week because of the hot and humid weather.
**I've posted baby pictures of Jason and me in the "Baby Anna" webpage.  I'm trying out the voting option this website offers, so please vote for who you think Anna looks like!

Thursday, July 14th, 2005
Jason has been working hard this week putting in a new flower bed in the front of our house.  Everything is looking great in spite of the hot and sticky weather!  In the meantime, Anna has decided to sit up all by herself!  She still takes headers without warning, but they're getting a little fewer each day.  We've also been trying baby food... she loves carrots and sweet potatoes, tolerates peas, and will NOT eat green beans.  We're working on a third tooth as well any day now...

Thursday, July 7th, 2005
Anna and I have been having so much fun lately.  We have been meeting tons of new playmates!  She just loves watching and talking to other babies.  And not only is it great for her to interact with other children, it's also a nice support network for me to talk with other moms!  Take a look at her new friends in Anna's "Month Five" webpage.

We just got back from our first Melik family vacation!  We went to San Francisco with my parents and it was FANTASTIC.  I was a bridesmaid in my friend Alisha's wedding, and could not have been more honored to share the day with them.  The entire wedding weekend was absolutely wonderful.  Take a look at some pictures in the "Alisha's Wedding" webpage in the Misc. Pictures section!  Other highlights of our vacation included wine tasting, Alcatraz, Fisherman's Wharf, Ghirardelli Square, and Muir Woods.  You can find pictures of the rest of our vacation in the "San Francisco 2005" webpage in the Misc. Pictures section.

Anna got her second tooth yesterday!  That kid is growing up too fast.  All of these changes and milestones are so exciting!  Today I remembered that exactly five years ago, Jason proposed.  And every day since then, things get better and better.  I couldn't ask for a better husband or dad.  If you haven't noticed, I changed the webpage layout.  I'm getting wild and crazy.  What do you think?

WOO HOO!!  School is out!  It has been a WILD school year!  Being pregnant and working, being in labor and working, and now being a mom and working have all been so very interesting.  I will have quite an assortment of stories to tell Anna when she grows up!  I'm looking forward to an entire summer with my daughter.  We have plans to start solid food in the next few weeks.  Today, in fact, was our first day with rice cereal- I'll let the pictures tell THAT story...

Saturday, June 4th, 2005
It seems as though Anna has been doing something new every day lately!  On Thursday, she rolled over from back to front.  On Friday, she cut her first tooth!  And today, she rolled over from front to back.  Wow!  Our next adventure as parents is to start babyproofing the house...

Sunday, May 22nd, 2005
Jason and I finally realize what it truly means to be parents.  To be a parent means wanting to give up your good health in a second for your child.  To be a parent means not minding when you have to sleep on the floor beside your child's crib because you're afraid her breathing is too raspy.  To be a parent is to try everything to make your child feel better, even if it means holding her most of her waking hours or sitting in a steamy bathroom.  This is what we did this weekend because Anna has croup!  Today she is feeling much better, thank GOD.  It's been a long weekend.

This weekend we celebrated our birthdays with family.  It was lots of fun!  We had a cookout at our house.  Today I used my free day and spent the day with Anna.  I visited some colleagues at WCTC, and then Anna and I went shopping with Kelly and her son Maverick.  We all had a great time.  It was nice to be home with Anna for an extra day.  The weekends seem to go by way too fast these days.  And although I'm happy enough being back at work, I think all teachers feel that certain anticipation for summer break.  I'm starting to get that summer itch...

Friday, May 6th, 2005
We have had many things going on lately... some good and some bad.  Jason's birthday was this week!  It was the big 2-9.  Anna gave him a card with her handprint on it.  Boy was THAT fun!  We had a black mouth and shirt in the 10 seconds it took me to get a washcloth.  We also picked up Anna's 3 month pictures this week, which I scanned and posted for you to see.  They turned out just great!  The bad part to our week has been that Anna and I have both been sick.  I had a sinus infection and Anna had a double ear infection... yuck.  I was a wimp about my sickness, and Anna could care less about being sick!  I'm glad for once that we were over-worried parents and took her to the doctor for her sniffles, because she showed no signs of infection.  Enjoy the new pictures and don't miss the picture of my first homemade Mother's Day present from Anna!

This week wasn't as bad as I envisioned.  But the first day at daycare WAS as bad as everyone told me it was going to be.  I cried at daycare, on the way to work, at work, and then I got a hug from my good friend Laura and I was okay.  I found that I really missed my students, my colleagues and just feeling professional.  Now Anna, on the other hand, did just fine.  She met a new friend, Kayla, who is six days older than her and who has taught her how to coo all the time!  And because our daycare is affiliated with a nursing home, she had her first encounter with the residents this week.  It makes us feel good knowing that Anna is making someone else's day a little happier.

Tomorrow is my first day back at work!  Being home on maternity leave has really been great, and not just for obvious reasons.  It has taught me to slow my life down, which is something I've been needing to do for a long time.  It has changed me for the better, and has made the transition into motherhood a little easier.  I feel very lucky I was able to take off thirteen weeks.  Now I feel confident enough in my new role as mother to add on my previous role as teacher.  I think I'm ready to go back to work, although I am dreading the moment when Jason and I have to leave her at daycare tomorrow morning.  I've added a new webpage for month THREE pictures.  She is just growing up way too fast!

Sunday, April 10th, 2005
Today was Anna's baptism.  She was quiet and content before her big event at church, and then she fell asleep the moment we got up in front of the congregation!  She did well.  Anna wore a baptismal gown that my late grandmother made for me when I was baptised twenty-seven years ago.  Anna's middle name, Marion, was named after this wonderful woman.  We chose two godmothers for Anna; my sister Abby and my sister-in-law Jenny.  They will be great role models for her as she grows up.  Take a look at the "Baptism" page under the "Misc. Pictures" section for some pictures from our special day.

Thursday April 7th, 2005
Well, poor Jason is pretty busy with work, school, and being a wonderful dad, so I decided to take over website duty for awhile.  And my theme since I've been on maternity leave is "cleaning and organization", so I cleaned up the website too.  I took out some pictures from Anna's links because we were becoming "those parents who take 500 pictures of their kid" and I also added two in Anna's newborn section that we had forgotten about during the fuzziness of new parenthood.  I also stuck a picture in the "About Us" section.
Anna has been on the go since our last update.  We enjoyed the Easter holiday at the Melik and Stepaniak households, which seemed more like Christmas with all of the stuff that Anna received!  She sure is spoiled.  And we’ve had many babysitters and visitors lately, including Great Aunt Bette, Grandpa Klinkhammer, Grandma Melik, Grandma Stepaniak, the Kickland family, Lindsay and her daughter Elise, Nicole and her boyfriend Ryan., and Shayna.  Anna has even ventured outside on stroller rides when it's been nice.  She didn’t know quite what to think of the sun or all the fresh air!  She’s been cooing a lot to us and she even surprised us with her first laugh on Easter Sunday.  All of these little milestones have warmed our hearts.  Even though she is only 11 weeks old, it’s hard to think of life without her now.  I can't believe I only have one more week left of my maternity leave.  Then it's back to work for only eight weeks!  Ah, life is great being a teacher.

Thursday March 24th, 2005
Anna, Amy and I have been pretty busy over the last nine days.  On Saturday, we traveled to Green Bay for Great-Grandpa Hlava's 78th birthday! The event was up in the air for awhile because the weather was not very cooperative, but at noon that day all the families in Eau Claire, Wausau, and Milwaukee decided the weather was good enough to travel to Green Bay.
Amy and I never realized until Saturday how much of Anna's stuff we needed to bring along!  Even though we stayed at Great-Aunt Bette's for one night we still had to bring a load of diapers and clothes to cover all possible "explosions." Plus, we had to bring the Pack & Play which goes into a bag the size of a small tent. You know, one of those tents that sleep around 10 people! If that were not enough, we took a blanket, some toys, and her favorite blue vibrating rocker. Needless to say the van was pretty full.
Great-Grandpa's birthday was a lot of fun. Around 30 people went to a micro-brew called Legends, and once we were seated, Anna began a two hour trek around the table. Anna was an angel and was happy all night. I've placed pictures of the event in the Misc. section.
Tuesday, Anna turned nine weeks old, and had her first immunizations at the doctor. She was NOT a happy camper. Since we have been home, Anna has slept most of the day.
This past week Anna has started cooing and when there is no pacifier present has found her fist a suitable substitute. Since she does not have the coordination to find her thumb,  she attempts to ram her whole fist into her mouth. Amy continues to mall walk in the mornings with our friend Kelly and her 7 month old son, Maverick.
Yesterday Amy took Anna to see some of her students and colleagues at the middle school.  She has realized that she misses her students very much.  Although it will be hard to leave Anna in a few weeks, she thinks going back to work might not be so bad.  I’ve posted a few pictures of her with her 6th grade class.

Sunday March 13th, 2005
This was a big week for Amy and Anna. Amy took Anna out to the mall for the first time in the stroller. Amy said Anna did great. Yesterday Amy and I also took Anna out to the new Target that opened in Oak Creek, and she did just fine. The doctor did not want Anna to leave the house until she was 8 weeks old because of winter and the flu season, so Amy and Anna get to now enjoy their new freedom out on the town.
This Tuesday Anna will be two months old and it's amazing to see the difference in her face over that time. Amy and I never dreamed of having a girl as special as Anna.

Friday March 4th, 2005
This upcoming Tuesday Anna will be seven weeks old. It's been amazing how much Anna has changed in such a short amount of time. I think the most dramatic change besides her new ability to smile is her eyes. She can focus and look directly at you and follow your movements. She is also gaining more strength in her neck to support her own head. She's not there yet, but it's surprising how much control she's gained.
Sorry the updates have not been as frequent, school and work are kicking me in the pants, and the usual time I spend working on this site at night is now spent sleeping. I'll try to make updates at least twice a week. We'll see how it goes.  I realized a couple of weeks ago I needed to increase my visitor "hit" counter at the bottom of the page because I was approaching 1000 hits! I never thought I would get 100 so I set the counter to max at 999. Well, thanks to supportive friends and family, this site has received a lot of visitors. Let's try for 10,000. At this rate we'll hit it by Anna's first birthday.

Thursday February 24th, 2005
Over the last week or so Anna has started to smile. I think initially they were related to gas cramps, but now we are definitely able to see a little smile here and there. We took Anna to the doctor today because we were worried that she may be getting an eye infection, but it turns out that we were just over-worried parents and Anna is perfectly fine.
Anna is filling out her clothing quite quickly. All of her 0-3 month clothing fit quite snugly and we are getting ready to break out the 3-6 month clothing. On some of the pictures just posted, the yellow striped jumper is a 3-6 month outfit...it's one of my new favorites!

Saturday February 19th, 2005
Today we had our picture taken for the church directory. It was our first as a family! When we get them in the next few weeks I'll be sure to get one posted. Also, in the upcoming weeks I'm going to start scanning pictures from our wedding to add some content to other sections of the website.
This morning, I also gave Anna her first bath without Mommy around. Amy took time this morning to get out of the house to run some errands so Anna and I had some Daddy/Daughter time. She was perfect, I think Amy is making up all of the stories she's telling me...

Wednesday February 16th, 2005
Yesterday Anna was one month old!  We had our doctors appointment in the morning and so far Anna is doing great!  Anna is currently in the 90 percentile for height and head circumference, and in the 75 percentile for weight! Anna is currently 22 1/4 inches long and weighs 9lbs. 12oz.
I have finally updated Anna's picture section. Final updates have been made in the newborn page, and I started adding pictures in month one. Be sure to take a look!

Tuesday February 15th, 2005
I can not believe I have gone over one week without posting any updates! Life has been busy this month as school has moved into full swing for me. Plus, Amy and I have new member classes at our church on Tuesday nights.
Yesterday, Amy and I had a chance to get out of the house for a Valentine's Day dinner. Besides being Valentine's Day, that day is also important to us because our first date occurred on that day six years ago.  Amy and I went to Ann's Italian Restaurant for a nice relaxing evening while Grandma Stepaniak came over to watch Anna.
Today is a big day for Anna as she is now one month old! It's amazing how much she has already grown over the last four weeks! We have already moved up a diaper size, and Anna fits quite snuggly in clothes labeled 0-3 months.
I've made some modifications to Anna's picture page, and I have a flood of pictures to post that I will get to hopefully today or tomorrow. Also, as I keep looking to make improvements to the web-site and hope to be able to make sections for Amy and I that represent more of us. If you have a chance go to jason.melik.org and let me know what you think, or just click
here.

Monday February 7th, 2005
Anna was born three weeks ago tomorrow, and it has been fun to see the changes in Anna during that time.  She is becoming more alert and tends to gaze at the person holding her more intently. Her facial expressions are growing everyday, but we have yet to see her really smile. We mostly see the heart melting frown right below she begins to cry.

Thursday February 3rd, 2005
Wow, it's been tough to find time to make an update over the last few days since I started work again on Tuesday.  Going back to work has been tough since I would rather be home with Amy and Anna, but unfortunately corporate America hasn't caught up with the times in terms of giving men paid maternity leave.
Amy and Anna are doing well. Amy has her hands full now since she is alone during the day, and since Anna has been awake almost all day it doesn't give Amy too much personal downtime. The only benefit is that Anna has been sleeping all night almost every night! We put her to bed between 9 and 10 and she sleeps almost 6 to 8 hours! Let's just hope it lasts.

Monday January 31st, 2005
Today is my last day off.  After having a taste of retirement, I now have to go back to work for the next 30+ years...I'm so excited.

Saturday January 29th, 2005
The days have slipped by rather quickly. It's amazing to think how much time is involved taking care of Anna in these first few weeks. It seems in the morning by the time Anna wakes, gets fed, naps, and sometime bathes, it's already noon!

Today, Amy and I tried to get out after feeling caged in the house for the last week and a half. So, we loaded Anna into her carrier and drove down the street to Starbucks. Anna snoozed peacefully in her carrier while Amy and I were able to spend a little time talking over a cup of coffee. Actually, she had a Grande Hot Chocolate, and I tried their new Chantico, which is like drinking a melted chocolate bar. Very tasty.

Wednesday January 26th, 2005
Today I got a taste of real-life again as I started my spring semester at UW-Milwaukee. I had to leave Amy and Anna for the first time since we came home from the hospital, and even though it has been 8 days since her birth, I had a hard time leaving. I do not look forward to returning to work next week, and even though I had difficulty leaving to go to class after 8 days, I can not imagine how it will be for Amy after 13 weeks!

Monday January 24th, 2005
We had an appointment with the Pediatrician this morning and Anna received a clean bill of health. We have our next appointment in three weeks when Anna is one month old. It's hard to think that last Monday at this time Amy was in labor!
As usual, I have more pictures posted of Anna. She's been a drama queen most of the day, but even in a bad mood she is still cute.

Sunday January 23rd, 2005
Today is going to be another lazy day. I had to dig out the driveway again this morning so Grandma and Dzia Dzia can park when they arrive.
Last night was probably the first night that Amy and I got very little sleep. Anna was a very hungry girl, plus we had a little issue with an explosion in her diaper. Fifteen minutes, 1 set of pajamas, 3 diapers, a changing pad, and 15 wipes later the disaster came under control.

Saturday January 22nd, 2005
I changed the layout today to give Anna her own section of the webpage. This will make it easier to organize the pictures as updates are made, so make sure you check back often.
Today, the family is lying low enjoying a quiet day together except when Daddy has to go outside to break his back shoveling snow. Anna is dressed in her little polar bear fleece to go along with the weather and Amy  had to take a picture. I posted it and a few others today, so take a look.

Friday January 21st, 2005
Yesterday the family came home for the first time and so far the adjustment hasn't been too bad. I never knew the body could function with only a few hours of sleep. It's also amazing that when you're in a rocking chair, not only does it put baby girls to sleep, but also their rocking fathers! Amy and I want to thank everyone for their kindness and support over these last few days. The response from friends and family has been overwhelming!
Keep an eye on the baby pictures section! There are going to be changes and a lot of additions over the next few days as I find time between diaper changes, burping, and sleeping in the rocking chair.

Wednesday January 19th, 2005
IT'S A GIRL!!!! Tuesday morning January 18th at 5:07am, Anna Marion Melik came into our lives. I am currently home getting a few things in order before we bring our baby home on Thursday, but I wanted to post a quick update and a few pictures of our beautiful baby.

Thursday January 13th, 2005
Four more days until week 40 and we are still waiting as patiently as possible. We thought we were going to have a baby last Thursday, but it turned out to be false labor and we were sent home. The doctors said they would not let the baby go past 41 weeks, but that's something Amy does not want to think about at the moment!

Tuesday January 4th, 2005
Amy had her appointment today marking her 38th week of pregnancy.  We were hoping to hear news that she has progressed more since her last appointment, but unfortunately nothing has changed over the last three weeks.  Amy has been very uncomfortable lately as she finds it difficult to sleep at night, but her mood has still been upbeat and positive.

Happy New Year everybody! As we start 2005 I thought I would finally get the motivation to get some content on the site since Amy has been asking me to get this done for months. As time moves along I hope to use this main page as a blog to update everybody on Amy’s pregnancy and life in general.

I’m updating the pictures section today so check it out! Also, don't forget to sign our guestbook!
